<div data-wrapper="true" style="font-size: 12px; font-family: "Segoe UI", "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif"><p>The Government has extended eligibility for the free early education entitlement for two-year-old children in England to include children in families where the parents have no recourse to public funds (NRPF).</p> <p>Two-year-old children in low income families will now be able to access this provision if their parent(s) is an ‘Appeal Rights Exhausted’ asylum seeker receiving asylum support from the Home Office under Section 4 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.</p> <p>This is a positive change which will enable two-year old children in low-income NRPF households to benefit from early years education.</p> <p>For further information please see the new guidance issued by the Department for Education here: <a href="http://www.nrpfnetwork.org.uk/Documents/Childcare-2-year-old-extended-eligibility.pdf ">http://www.nrpfnetwork.org.uk/Documents/Childcare-2-year-old-extended-eligibility.pdf</a></p> </div>
