<div data-wrapper="true" style="font-size: 12px; font-family: "Segoe UI", "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif"> <p>Migrant Help can provide you with advice if the Home Office has confirmed that your appeal rights are exhausted on your asylum claim and you claim has been closed.</p> <p>You should have recently received information from your legal representative or the Home Office, setting out the reasons why the Home Office believes that you do not meet the grounds for asylum or humanitarian protection.</p> <p>Migrant Help will receive notification from the Home Office that a negative decision has been made on your case and, within one working day, will call you to make an appointment with one of our experienced advisers to offer support going forward.</p> <p>Face to face appointments can be provided to those unable to access our service via a telephone appointment.</p><p> </p><p>You can also call us when you receive your letter or at any point during the 28-day post decision period on 0808 8010 503.</p> <p> On receipt of a negative decision, your asylum support will be stopped after the grace period passes, and you will need to leave your asylum accommodation.</p> <p>During your appointments with the Migrant Help adviser, we will explain the grace period and provide you with further information on the implications of the decision, the options available to you going forward including eligibility for Section 4 support, possible right to appeal against incorrect termination of asylum support, right to access legal assistance and the Voluntary Returns Service.</p> <p>Migrant Help is unable to provide legal advice, however we can help to refer or signpost you to a legal adviser who can offer the required support. Feel free to call us on 0808 8010 503 for more information.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Appealing against termination of support</span></p> <p>If you believe that your initial asylum claim is still outstanding with the Home Office, you can submit an appeal against the decision to terminate your asylum support to the First-tier Tribunal (asylum support).</p> <p>The Home Office will send a letter terminating your support which will stipulate the grounds/reasons for refusal. Appeals need to be submitted within three working days from the date of decision.</p> <p>You need to contact Migrant Help on 0808 8010 503 for information regarding the appeal.</p> <p>For further information, you can visit the <a href="http://www.asaproject.org/" target="_blank">Asylum Support Appeals Project (ASAP) website</a>.
