	<p>FGM is the mutilation of the external female genitalia for non-medical reasons. It is sometimes known as female circumcision
		or ‘sunna’.</p>
	<p>FGM is illegal in the UK. It is also illegal to arrange for a child to be taken abroad for FGM. Offenders face a large fine
		and a prison sentence of up to 14 years.</p>
	<p>If you are worried about someone who is at risk of FGM or has had FGM after coming to the UK, you must share this information
		with the police or with social services. They will investigate and protect any girls or women involved.</p>

		<a href="https://www.nspcc.org.uk/">National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children</a> (NSPCC) has an FGM helpline which is a free, anonymous,
		24-hour service. You can call the FGM helpline if you’re worried a child is at risk of, or has had, FGM on
		<a href="tel:0800 028 3550">0800 028 3550</a>.</p>
